High-quality streamingAs remote work, hybrid workplaces, and multi-state hiring continue to grow, payroll tax compliance has become increasingly complex. Employers must navigate a patchwork of state and local tax laws, reciprocal agreements, withholding requirements, unemployment insurance rules, nexus considerations, and employee residency issues. Even small payroll mistakes can lead to costly penalties, audits, and employee tax problems.
This practical webinar provides payroll professionals, HR leaders, finance teams, and employers with a comprehensive guide to managing multi-state payroll tax compliance. Participants will learn how to determine the correct state for tax withholding, handle employees who live and work in different states, understand reciprocal agreements, and address common compliance challenges.
Through practical examples, real-world scenarios, and proven best practices, attendees will gain the confidence to accurately manage multi-state payroll obligations while reducing compliance risks.
